Black female attorneys make up on 3% of the total attorney population. We are undervalued, underpaid & overworked. We provide the nuance of intersectionality through the wisdom of our life’s experiences. In the midst of the pandemic I have continued to go to court to represent clients in need of civil restraining orders from their abusers. This year I celebrate my 11th year as a licensed NC attorney.
